The Homeland Security Graduate Program at San Diego State University welcomed it’s 15th student cohort on August 13, 2019, at the new student orientation. The 2019 HSEC cohort consists of 55 graduate students who are ready to embark on a challenging academic venture. Current HSEC students took the opportunity to meet their new colleagues who are joining us not only from all across the country, but internationally as well. The current HSEC students used this time to provide insight on how to excel in this worthwhile program. Alumni took the time out of their busy schedules to present great internship opportunities in the private and public sector. The presence of both HSEC Alumni and current graduate students at the orientation is a testament of the strong foundation and kinship that the SDSU HSEC program encompasses since its founding in 2004. HSEC faculty and staff would like to welcome the incoming 2019 cohort and would like to thank everyone who took the time to be present.
